Eu escrevi este post no ano de 2009. Achei no meu notebook velho quando eu estava tentando instalar linux. Veja o post engracado.
DAY 36.
This is the 36th day of my development work on the
project(confidential). I am now in my cubicle. Started from my home to my
office early in the morning by 8th am. Early because , if
a catch local trains after 8 o’clock it will be so heavily packed that all the breakfast I
had would come out of my mouth under the pressure of heavily packed people. So
I start early and finally reached office by 9-15 am. First think I do is to go
to the toilet and wash off my hands..God knows how many bacterias I carry in my
hands when I travel in mumbai local trains. And after washing my hands I went
to my cubicle G-5,237 near the Coffee machine. And now I have logged into my PC
with a view to complete my yesterday’s uncompleted works. Before starting it I
logged into Gtalk as usual to check whether my GF is online or not. No, she has
not come yet. Good!! Now let me finish my works as soon as possible and let me
start chatting with my beloved GF. I have started work now. (Some technical
description of my work:: I am working on some tool called TIBCO. I am in
Telecom domain and I am developing some application using this tool. My
application is “ValidateCustomer and ValidateBillRecipient”. I am implementing
one network adapter that has these above quoted services that checks for a new
customer for his/her authentication and so and so. I am not going in detail(its
highly confidential). Ok fine!!! And we have to use some pallets in this TIBCO
tool made in JAVA and have to implement logics in these already implemented
pallets. Not very easy. Never think they are easy. )
Okay now get to work. I had some f****** problem in the ValidateCustomer
service. Ahh, let me fix it as early as possible and go chatting with my GF.
Now I have opened my virtual machine(we do not work in our own local PCs. We
work in the systems provided by our clients. These are systems of Netherland.
So they are called virtual PCs). Ok fine!!! Get to work. I have opened my
yesterdays service and started to look into the breakpoint where it is giving
problem. F*** I cant even see any thing. Don’t know why its giving me problem.
Oh nooo!! Its nine am now and feeling hungry. Lets go to canteen . Fast
man!!!!! Fast. I have to fix it before my GF comes to GTALK. I hurried to the
canteen. I usually come to office early so very few people are there in the
office. I have put an order for a Banana Milk shake and masala dosa and went to
the toilet for peeing. Hehe. … when I came back I have my breakfast ready. I
took it hurriedly in 20 minutes and came back to my cubicle and started banging
my head on that fucking issue. Time is running fast. Its now 9.30 am. I checked
my Gtalk. She is not online. Come on!!!! Hurry up,Anupam!!!! Fast fast!!!.
Banging my head a lot after I could not find out the defect and now its
10 am. My SPOC (Single Point Of contact……some terms used in our company and
projects) came. Don’t worry it is not a machine. It is a human under whom I am
doing the project. Ok, come to business!!! Now I have informed him about my
hell problem and asked him for quick solutions(as you know I am excited to fix
it as soon as possible). He came to my system and checked out my service and
told me that there is some problem in the .xsd files. I could immediately guess
this problem and uploaded the correct .xsd file soon. And now , see the magic.
My service ran in full glory. Great!!!!! I have completed my service. Great
man!!!!! Now I can chat with my GF as
much as I want.
Now I have looked into my Gtalk. My God, she is not online till 10.30am!!!
hmm..let me check my orkut and gmail. Generally orkut,gmail etc are blocked in
our local pcs. But they are not blocked in the virtual machines. So , lets get
started. But be careful. Ok!!!! If my boss sees my doing orkuting , he will
screw me up. Hehhe.. and its great , my boss has not come yet. Lets do it. Now
I have switched to my virtual machine and opened gmail and orkut
simultaneously. Wooowwwwwoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! My gf replied to the mail I
wrote her yesterday, great !!! lets read it. What a sweet language she is
writing!!!! I am very glad. Felt euphoric. I have read it many times. And I
forgot that my clock ticked 11am. And I suddenly saw somebody pinged me. Great
!!!! its She, for which I have been waiting. Now log off these orkut and gmail
and let me switch to my local machine. Quick man !!!! quick !!!!.
Now we started. Hehe…..

And I don’t know how half an hour
passed without my knowledge. Ahhh…my came SPOC to me and said that I have to
work in another adapter NOW. Phheewww!!!! I minimized my gtalk window and
started to discuss with my SPOC about the new adapter. It’s a long discussion.
But I am not able to concentrate. By gf is pinging me and I am not able to
reply her. I am just telling my SPOC..ok , ok , ok, ok, fine , ok and nodding
my head. Yes hehehe…. Now finally after 15 minutes he left and in no time I
opened my gtalk to see what She is telling. Thank god!!! She has not got angry.
I told her why I was not replying. And it’s good, she understands. So, no
problem!! We again started chatting some different topics. And now the fucking
bastard, the guy next to my cubicle came. He is peeping tom. Now he gonna peep
into my window to see what I am chatting with my gf. Heheh!!! Its very
disturbing to chat when this guy comes. He said me “hi” and I replied to told
him “hi” and switched to my virtual machine to show him that I am very very
busy with my work. Haha.!!! How many traps I have to play!! God knows.. good
!!!! he is now busy with work. Again chatting started!!!
Damn!!!
My SPOC called me to his system to show me in detail to make the new adapter.
Hmmm….!!! I have to go now!! And so I told my gf that I have to go to some
emergency work right now. She forced me to stay in gtak. Hmmm!!!!! But I had to
go. I assured her to come back soon and went to my SPOC and discussed the
matter. It’s not a big adapter and I got the confidence to develop it myself
alone. It was just to make some changes. Good!!!!!
I came back to my desk and pinged her. Ahh….she is not replying me. I am
worried. After some time she replied that she was reading my blog. Great!!!
People read my blog too. I felt euphoric and made a plan to publish more and
more to my blog.
Hmmm… my god its 1.30 pm and it’s
my lunch time and till I am chatting with my gf. And she is too replying me
with great pace. Now I have to go to have chicken lunch. Today is Friday and we
have chicken in Friday and Wednesday. So, I have to say my gf, bye now and its
one of the toughest time for me. She would never let me go!!!! I know it and I
like it. Ohhhh God!!!!! Its 1.30 pm and its Sh’s time for sleep(not in India
She
has gone. I felt some emptiness for the whole day. Anyways I ran to the canteen
with my colleagues and stood in a long queue. Felt as if standing in a queue
for food in some flood affected lands. Anyways, I have got my full non-veg
thali for 45 bucks and went to a table
and started eating. Yummmyyyyyy..!!!!!!
Now lunch is over in 30 minutes and we came back to our respective
cubicles. Today is Friday and work pressure is low and I told my SPOC that I
would start my work from Monday and it would not take very much time to develop
that service. Now I am leaning in my chair. Damn, I have taken a huge meal and
now feeling very sleepy! And now I called my next cubicle guy to go for a walk
outside. He agreed as he is also feeling sleepy. We came out of the office and
went to the road. Actually we have our office in IT colony and there are lot of
IT companies in the IT park. We discussed about the other companies and the
salaries. Heheh!!!! And finally we came back to our office.
Now
its 4pm and I am doing some other works. And from time to time just peeping
into my gtalk to see if by any chances I can see Sh..heheh!!!!! ohh!!!! I am
feeling pressure. I had a lot of chicken today. I hurried to the toilet. But
alas!!! Some guys have already occupied it(may be, they also had enough
chickens..heheh). so I came back to my cubicle. But I could not resist. So I
went again to some another toilet and for my good luck I found empty toilets
and in no time I entered. Ahh…..feeling so cool now. Good. I took 15 minutes
and then came back. It’s now 4.45 pm. I started my work now. I am now helping
deploying some Adapters in server. One of my colleagues facing some problems while
deploying. So I am the expert in these fields. All issues regarding deployments
come to me. Now I am feeling very happy to solve this issue now. Becoz I was
feeling very sleepy. Okay!!!!! I went through the problem and worked it out and
finally put an end to it. Pheewwwww!!!!!!! Now it’s 5.30 pm and now its snacks
time. We went to snacks and did a lot of timepass. Because my actual work would
start from Monday and got a lot of time to pass on this Friday. Now its 6 pm
and end of official hours. People started going home slowly. But I don’t wish
to go home now. Because if I go by now I will have to face heavy rush in train.
So I waited upto 8 pm , surfing net and finally went home with two days(Saturday
and Sunday) of holiday.
Great!!!
We will cook chicken in these weekend..
